An announcement regarding JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) for the candidates pursuing to join engineering courses in IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), NIT (National Institute of Technology) and other public and private sector engineering colleges and the architectural courses.
National Testing Agency conducts the JEE Main 2019. The application is set to commence on 1st September. NTA has made some major changes in the format of JEE.
The 1st change is the JEE would henceforth be conducted twice in a year. The JEE conducted from 6th to 20th January and the JEE will be conducted for the 2nd time from 6th to 20th April.
The 2nd major change is that the entire JEE test process will be through computers. The JEE will be in 8 sittings. The applicants can choose the preferred sitting while applying for the JEE.
The candidates who scored over 75% in 12th Standard will be eligible to write JEE main and JEE advanced. The candidates can apply only online.
The last date for applying for January JEE is 30th September.
The students can write both the exams conducted in January and April. The JEE where the candidate had secured the higher marks will be taken for consideration.
It has been announced that the results of the January JEE Main will be released on 31st January.
