Weather Bureau: warnings for heavy rains again in Kerala

The Weather Bureau has warned that there are prospects of heavy rains in Kerala on 25th and 26th September.

With the incessant downpours, floods, and landslides experienced by Kerala last month, normal life is just about returning presently. Now, this recent announcement is a threatening one with grave consequences.

The weather bureau has warned that heavy rains of  64.4 mm to 126.4 mm may occur on Tuesday (25th September) and Wednesday (26th September) in the Kerala districts of Idukki and Wayanad.

Especially, the No.# 2 warning level of ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued for the Kerala districts of Pathanamthitta, Idukki, and Wayanad.

Further, the weather bureau has warned of heavy rains in the districts of Palghat and Trichur.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Kerala, in his Tweet on the social network medium Twitter, has emphasized the immediate activities to be undertaken for precautionary measures to the district administrations.
