Good rains at Chennai during night / morning. One more short spell to happen at isolated places shortly. This trend is going to continue for Chennai. With Cyclone expected to form in Arabian sea far away from our coast, this will strengthen the winds from east. We call this pull effect rains.
=============================
Tamil Nadu hill areas such as Coonoor, Ketti, down south Manjolai, Papanasam, Kanykumari areas around pechiparai should see good rains as they all have the mountain openings from east. I would like to keep an eye on Coonoor. South TN will see good rains on 7th October but nothing too fear off.
TN and Kerala need not fear anything on the red alert given on 7th October. It will be just another day. In fact 8th October looks much better in terms of rains. Chennai will have good rains from 8th early morning.
Chennai pattern will remain the same. Mid-Night and morning rains and then break with isolated spells.
Its is sad to see people leaving homes mis-understanding the red alert on 7th October meant for Chennai. "Though rains will be there it will be another day like the past few days" 8th October looks wide spread rains. People need not worry on all heavy rains alert. Not every rain alert should be seen with respect to floods.
We need rains and people should welcome it and not fear it. Regarding the cyclone in making in Arabian Sea, it will move away towards Oman / Yemen border regions. No harm from it for Indian coast directly. It will become as a Cyclone very very far away and will become severe cyclone very very very very far away from our coast.
