Prospects of another cyclone over the Bay of Bengal in 24 hours

The director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Balachandran, has informed that there are prospects of a cyclone forming over the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours. He explained in this regard:
The low-pressure zone formed recently over the Bay of Bengal has intensified and transformed into a deep depression zone. There are prospects that this would convert into a cyclone.
Because of this, there are prospects of mild rains in a few places in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The fishermen should not venture into the sea in the Bay of Bengal region until 11th October and in the Arabia sea region until 13th October.
