A tourist facilitation and information counter in the Indira Gandhi International Airport was opened recently where the Union Tourism Minister K J Alphons headed the event. He said that these centers shall provide information for all domestic as well as international visitors across all the 24*7.

There will be 2 staff members and a supervisor to attend to the queries and doubts of tourists. They will also be able to guide them with appropriate information.

There will be surplus brochures and tourist literatures made available at these centers. And this shall also serve all the non-English speakers. There will be 24*7 helpline number which is 1363 to which the tourists can dial to and communicate directly in any foreign language agent. In this helpline number, guidance in various languages including French, Italian, German, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Arabic will be provided.
