This new hospital on MTH road in Ambattur is making huge noises now

On the MTH road in Ambattur, Chennai is located Teja multi-speciality hospital and this hospital is now taken up by New Life Hospitals group. The new name that is given now to this hospital is ‘New Life Teja Hospital’. This hospital is now grabbing the attention of many. It must be mentioned here that popular Tamil actress Meena inaugurated this hospital and made many heads turn. Gynaecology and paediatrics are important branches of medicine and these two would be given huge importance in this new hospital in Ambattur. The amazing piece of information is this is now their 8th branch in the Chennai city.
Chairman and executive director of New Life Teja Hospitals, Mr. Gerald Ebenezer expressed his views. He spoke about the addition of MRI and CT scan facilities in the hospital. He then explained about the 2 levels of care provided to the children. The 2 levels are management of acutely unwell children within the hospital and outpatient requirement for the children who need general paediatric consultation and assessment. The inauguration event also saw the announcement about the pet project of Mr. Gerald that is New Life Children’s Palliative Foundation and he gave an amount of Rs 1 crore for that. The good news is Prashanth Hospitals has set up a research fertility centre in the premises and by this both mother and child care is brought under single roof. This would be beneficial for many.
There are some children who get affected by serious illness and it is now revealed that these children would be benefited by the paediatric palliative care. By this relief from the symptoms, pain and stress could be got. Mr. Gerald highlighted the importance of this paediatric palliative care and said the main objective was to improve the quality of life of both child as well as the family.
There are some superb plans for this hospital in the upcoming 2019 and it is said that 2 exclusive children’s palliative units, 25- bedded facility at Mogappair and 250-bedded facility at Sriperumbudur would be set up. The hospital management wants to build more such units in Chennai in the future. Fantastic!!
