Toll-free number to check whether the name is in the voters list

A new toll-free number has been introduced to check whether a specific name is included in the voters list.
Further, it has been informed that there is still time available to include names in the voters` list!
As the parliamentary election dates are nearing fast, the Tamil Nadu Chief Election Officer Satyapradha Sahu shred information regarding the preparatory activities undertaken. He shared:
‘After the release of the final voters` list, special camps were conducted and opportunities were provided for the public to include their names. With this effort, 1014000 new names have been added to the voters` list.
Those who submitted applications in the special camps and those who applied for addition/eleton.correction of names can contact the telephone number 1950 and get the details.
Even in the case, that the name is not included in the voters` list, there is still some more time available to do it by applying now.’
