The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of an increase in temperature by 2 to 4 Degrees Celsius compared to normal in 10 districts in Tamil Nadu today (Thursday, 21st March).
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared yesterday (Wednesday, 20th March):
‘A dry climate will prevail in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Thursday (today, 21st March). Further, there are prospects of the temperature shooting up by 2 to 4 Degrees Celsius in a few areas of the interior Tamil Nadu.
The Chennai Metro City skies will remain clear. A maximum temperature of 95 Degrees Fahrenheit may be recorded. ‘
A maximum temperature of 100 Degrees Fahrenheit was recorded at Karur Paramathi and Salem. Madurai (South) and Tiruthani recorded 99 Degrees Fahrenheit. Madurai (airport), Palayamkottai, and Trichy recorded 98 Degrees Fahrenheit.
