Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated with pride that India is one of the elite countries in space powers as it has shot down an anti-satellite missile. India stands as the 4th in the list of countries that have successfully tested their anti-satellite weapon with the other countries being UK, China and Russia. While addressing the country, he calls this victory as the Mission Shakti. This initiative in India is not targeting towards any other country, he adds.
On the same day, today, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the General Secretary of Congress party has visited Ameti which is almost held with the Congress Party. She would then follow on till Uttar Pradesh in the following days and have discussion with Congress booth level workers.
Amidst these, the Samjwadi Party had organized conference at 1 pm where briefing was given by the party president Akhilesh Yadav.
