The present president of the Tamil Nadu State BJP (Bharathiya Janata Party), Thamizhisai Soundararajan, has been appointed as Governor of the Telangana State on 1st September (today, Sunday).
Until now, Narasimhan was the functioning Governor for both Andhra and the Telangana States. Now, he has been appointed as the Governor for the state of Chattisgarh.
Meanwhile, Thamizhisai Soundararajan was functioning as the President of BJP in the state of Tamil Nadu from the year 2014.
This tenure would be up to December this year and in this situation, Thamizhisai Soundararajan has been appointed as Governor. Hence, she would be relieved from the present post as BJP president in Tamil Nadu State and a new president will be nominated shortly.
