Women organic agricultural products fair from 6th September

As per the latest announcement released by the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Women Development, with the objective to market all the products made by the Women’s self-help groups throughout the state, a 3-day organic agricultural product fair is scheduled to be conducted at the Mother Teresa Complex in Valluvar Kottam (Nungambakkam, Chennai) from 6th September (Friday) to 8th September (Sunday).
Agricultural items such as green varieties, vegetables, fruits, different kinds of rice, plants, seeds, wooden oil-extracting equipment, small grains, enriched food items, paper bags, cloth-bags, items made from betel-nut trees and items made from the thatches of the palm tree will be sold in this fair.
As a part of this fair, 2 special programmes will be conducted on Saturday, 7th September:
1. Cooking coaching for preparing food items from the traditional food items
2. A special address by Dr Sivaraman
On Sunday, 8th September, coaching about setting up terrace/roof gardens and a special address by Sultan Ismail will be conducted.
