The frontline workers in TN can get COVID shots by registering in portal

The frontline workers in TN could heave a sigh of relief now!!
From 2nd February onwards, the website for the frontline workers to register for being eligible for Covid-19 vaccination would be open. It is said that the frontline workers could get Covid-19 jab after getting registered through the COWIN app.
The portal would be open from midnight and frontline workers like conservancy workers, police personnel could register themselves to get the vaccine. This was mentioned by a senior official belonging to the healthcare department. It must be noted that there are around 61 lakhs frontline works in India and around six lakhs in TN.
