The intensity of the second Coronavirus infection wave is reducing now and normalcy is returning back slowly in Tamilnadu. It is now said that the Tamilnadu government is continuing to review the reopening of the schools for the higher classes.
There was a review meeting between the school education minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and health officials regarding reopening of schools for the classes 9 to 12. It must not be forgotten that after the first Coronavirus infection wave schools reopened for classes 9 to 12 in Tamilnadu.
The minister spoke about how the parents must not have any fear in sending their kids to the schools. Pros and cons would be discussed before the reopening of the schools.
It is now said that the authorities were thinking of getting feedback from the parents and students about reopening of the schools. This was according to a senior officer belonging to the school education department. He pointed out that discussions have been going on about the beginning of the classes on a rotation basis for high school students. Safety measures for the students would be given high importance and discussions about this are also going on now.
Data regarding the current scenario in their respective areas have been submitted by the district education officers and soon a decision would be taken. It must be noted that the students would continue to learn through online mode till the reopening of their schools in Tamilnadu. Point is that the teachers must make sure that the students learn lessons from Kalvi Tamilnadu.
