Consultative paper on power plant tariff

There are several solar power developers getting lined up for setting their projects in the state. Further to this, the Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) has issued a consultative paper stating about a descriptive tariff order for the solar power proposal. This ranges between Rs 8.34/unit and Rs 5.78/unit for different categories.
This consultative paper contains details about tariffs including:
· Solar thermal power plant
· Solar photovoltaic and kilowatt scale rooftop solat power projects
The commission welcomes suggestions and comments from the stakeholders until 31st August.
