The Department of School Education in Tamil Nadu has recently announced that the supplementary examinations for Class 12 students who were unable to clear the board exams will commence on June 19. This decision offers a second chance to the 47,934 candidates who did not achieve a passing grade in the initial examination.
The Class 12 board examination results were declared today by the School Education Minister, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, at the Anna Centenary Library Complex in Kotturpuram, Chennai. The overall pass percentage for Tamil Nadu stands at an impressive 94.03%. Out of the total passed candidates, 91.45% are male students, while 96.38% are female students.
Celebrations are in order for Virudhunagar district, as it has emerged as the top-performing district with the highest number of successful students. Furthermore, a remarkable 326 Government Higher Secondary Schools in Tamil Nadu boast a flawless 100% pass rate.
With the supplementary exams scheduled to take place, students who did not achieve the desired results in the board exams have an opportunity to improve their scores and secure their academic futures. It is hoped that the additional preparation time will enable these students to excel in their subjects and achieve their desired educational goals.
