The registration of application forms for women`s rights financial assistance is scheduled to commence today (Monday, 24th July) in the wards under the Greater Chennai Corporation.
The registration camps for women`s rights assistance application forms will be conducted in 2 phases in Chennai Metro City.
The first phase of registration of applications for women`s rights assistance is set to commence today (Monday, 24th July) in 703 Fair Price Shops in 98 wards in Chennai Metro City.
Subsequently, this camp will continue to function every day of the week, including Sundays, from 9.30 AM to 1.00 PM in the forenoons and from 2.00 PM until 5.30 PM in the afternoons.
The applications must be submitted at the camp as per the dates indicated in the tokens issued at the camps organized in the Fair Price Shops. During the registration, applicants need to bring the Aadhar card, Family Ration Card, the receipt for electricity bill payment, and the bank account passbook.
However, there is no need to attach any document along with the application. Income receipt proof from the Revenue Department and other property deeds are not required.
The applicant`s Aadhar number will be registered, and the fingerprints will be verified by the biometric equipment. In case the fingerprint is not registered properly, an OTP (one-time-password) will be sent to the cell phone number provided in the Aadhar card.
As such, applicants need to bring their cell phones as per the number given in the Aadhar card!
