Chennai Meteorological Centre, under the guidance of Director P. Senthamaraikannan, has issued a press release reporting the prevailing weather conditions in Tamil Nadu for the end of October and early November.
Currently, there is an atmospheric low circulation in the South West Bay of Bengal, situated near the coastal regions of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, another atmospheric low circulation is noted in the southeast areas. As a consequence of these weather patterns, the following forecast has been provided:
- Today, on October 27th, some places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry may experience light to moderate rain with occasional thunder and lightning.
- From October 28th to November 1st, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rain in select areas.
However, the most notable forecast indicates that heavy rain is expected on October 29th and 30th in various districts, including Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore, and others.
Residents in these regions are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety during the anticipated heavy rainfall.
