Southern Railway Announces Diwali Festival Special Trains Between Tambaram and Nagercoil

In a festive move to accommodate the travel needs of passengers during the Diwali season, Southern Railway has revealed the operation of special train services between Tambaram and Nagercoil. The special trains, numbered 06012 and 06011, promise a convenient and efficient travel experience for commuters.
Train 06012 - Nagercoil to Tambaram Superfast Festival Special Fare Special:
- Commencing on November 5, 12, 19, and 26 (Sundays), this superfast festival special will depart from Nagercoil at 4:35 pm.
- It is scheduled to arrive at Tambaram at 4:10 am the following day.
Train 06011 - Tambaram to Nagercoil Superfast Festival Special Fare Special:
- Departing from Tambaram at 8:05 am on November 6, 13, 20, and 27 (Mondays), this special train offers a swift journey to Nagercoil.
- Passengers can anticipate reaching Nagercoil at 8:45 pm on the same day.
The special festival trains are well-equipped to ensure passenger comfort, featuring one AC II tier, five AC III tier, 11 sleeper class, two general second class, and two disabled-friendly second class coaches.
Advance reservations for these special trains are set to open at 8 am on November 2, allowing travelers to secure their seats for the upcoming Diwali celebrations and festivities.
