AICTE to raid on erratic Engineering colleges

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has decided to conduct surprise raids on Engineering colleges across the country.
AICTE sources say that once it gives approval for an engineering college it becomes the responsibility of the university concerned to conduct periodic inspection of the institution.
