Separate queues at ration shops for senior citizens

T.N. Hariharan, the collector has made an order to follow separate queues for senior citizens henceforth. This has greatly helped older people at Virudhunagar as they need not stand in long queues anymore. The step was made during a recent meet by “Elders for elders federation”.
During this meeting, group members discussed on the topic with the collector. At the end, one of the EFEF spokesperson stated that almost all of the demands of senior citizens were considered at the meeting.
