Mancalaru dam to be opened tomorrow: Jayalalithaa Announcement

Theni and Dindigul districts will benefit from the opening of mancalaru dam with release of water for irrigation of agricultural crops. This is as per the demands of the people. Theni and Dindigul districts of the old and the new ayakkattu mutual cultivated areas will receive irrigation water from 27th December.
These areas will receive approximately 5.259 acres of irrigated land.
