Circular for New NOC Regulations - CBSE

Circular on relinquishing requisite of No Objection Certificate for CBSE schools aperture has been available on the Website and this circular has to be followed in spirit, avowed CBSE Chairman Vineet Joshi.

On Saturday, during the occasion of the valedictory function of ‘Parvatotsavam’ an inter-school competition and exhibition celebrating the peaks organized by Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir,  Mr. Joshi talks about the concerns straddling hike in the count of CBSE schools, parallel quality control, significance of in-service coaching and effectual accomplishment of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system.

He mentioned that about 800 to 900 CBSE schools have been originated across the country in a year.

To ensure quality, all the CBSE schools needs to get accredited within three years and for every five years they have to do repeat in getting the accreditation, similar to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

CBSE has made the class X board examination optional.

CBSE Chairman Vineet Joshi said that at once the final examinations are over, they will be having  a meeting with schools in the city to get opinions on the first Open Text-Based Assessment to be seized for classes IX and XI this year, and then, take a call on whether to bring in for classes X and XII.
