Court Neglect Strike Today – Lawyers Association Declaration
On warning the event of Srilanka war, where many tamilians got murdered, lawyers have been involved in the continuous strike during 2009 in Chennai High Court.
During the event of case trial, public have been involved in the action
of egg throwing on lawyer Subramaniyasami, to show their opposition.
On 19 February, 2009 few lawyers has filled the case in the police
station against the lawyer Subramaniyasami. Police officers has involved in blowing
action on lawyers, judges in the high court during the problem.
Hence 19 February on every year will be treated by lawyer as the black
day.
For this year, today (Wednesday), lawyers involved in strike and treat a
black day. In this state, Chennai High Court Lawyers Association Chief R.C.
BalKanagaRaj has conducted an instant meeting yesterday.
In this meet, they have concluded that, the police
officials who were involved in the blowing action against judges and lawyers
during the year 2009 including Chennai police commissioner Radhakrishnan,
Assistant Commissioner A.K. Viswanathan, Joint Commissioner RamaSubramani and
Prem Anand Sinha should undergo suspension.
At the same time, TamilNadu Government need to get back the case filled in Supreme Court against the order of the High Court, added by the chief of the Chennai High Court Lawyers Association.
