Waiting to receive your Aadhar card since a long time?

Here is a news for those who are awaiting to receive your Aadhar card. If you’ve enrolled your name and details for Aadhar long back and still did not receive the card, possibilities are on that the card may be retained at your nearest post office.
It is observed that thousands of such Aadhar cards are piled up at post offices because of wrong address, door number or name. Speaking to Mervin Alexander, post master general of Chennai region, he said due to wrong address or door numbers, many such Aadhar cards are retained in the office without having any way to deliver them.
“Those who are waiting since a long time can approach the nearby post office and enquire if their Aadhar card is present there. When the names of retained Aadhar cards are written on a notice board at post offices, it will add convenience to the public,” he added.
Additionally, there is no enough number of staff members to deliver these aadhar cards. This is one other reason for the delay in delivery or non-delivery.Waiting to receive your Aadhar card since a long time?
