Our body will release the sweat with diverse kinds of chemicals, which has been released by the microbes in the skin. This may results in adorable odour that attracts the mosquitoes.

Moreover a detailed analysis on the study carried out by the Indian Public Health Association (IPHA), TamilNadu, has revealed that the persons who took bath ahead of their bed and also who gobbles more garlic during their dinner will be less attracted by the mosquitoes.

IPHA has conducted a survey on two groups of people with 100 each, from September 2013 to February 2014. The groups of people were similar in their age, gender and job. People have been assembled across the city, from Tandayarpet, Chromepet, Tenampet, Adayar, Porur, Anna Nagar, Mogappair and Pulianthope.

This study has found that, these areas have highly accumulated growth of Anopheles Stephensi mosquito species, which states the main cause for transmission of malaria. It involves examining the type of species, density and the status of the resting & blood meal grades, said S. Elango, president of IPHA, TamilNadu.
