Metro rail test run between Koyambedu and Alandur

Announcements about metro rail test run between Koyambedu and Alandur was made by the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) department officials recently. They have now stated that the test run will commence by first week of May. As of now, the test run is taking place between Koyambedu and Ashok Nagar. CMRL is taking necessary steps to expand the process. As a step, the test run between Koyambedu and Alandur will commence and get continued till July. On completion of it, the train will then be availed for public usage from October.
