Exam for CIFNETs marine tech course on June 21

The Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical Engineering and Training (CIFNET) have announced it will conduct the vessel navigator and marine fitter trade courses offer a stipend of Rs 1,500 per month per students.
The courses, affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training, are fully residential courses and students will be provided hostel facilities. On completion of the course, candidates will be employed as engine drivers, engineers, mates or skippers.
Students will also have an opportunity to enter the merchant navy as engineers or captains.
The vacant seats will be filled through an all India entrance examination by CIFNET on June 21. Candidates with 50% marks in science and mathematics in Class 10 can apply . The application can be downloaded from http://www.cifnet.gov.in or contact 044-25952691/92/ 93.
