Tasmac Shops Shut on May Day – Chennai Collector Order!

On behalf of May Day, below is the announcement given by Chennai district Collector Sundaravalli.
In TamilNadu on 1
May, 2014 (May Day), all alcohol beverage wholesale shops, retail shops, and
bars; the TamilNadu government authorized, Chennai situated alcohol beverage
retail shops and Tasmac shops, all Tasmac retail shops branches and its coupled
bars; F.L 2 licensed shops branches and its linked bars; F.L 3 licensed hotels
and its linked bars; and F.L 3 (A) licensed bars should be shut, as per
government order.
All these rules
are set to avoid sale of alcohol on May Day. Severe action will be taken on those
who have failed to follow the government order, says the Chennai collector.
