A recent study has found that diet with low levels of carbohydrate helps reduce inflammation in type-2 diabetics. A research was conducted by Linkoping University, Sweden. According to its results, compared to non-diabetic individuals, inflammation was found in diabetic patients. This however was found to get reduced with intake of low-carbohydrate food for over 6 months. Scientists say they found good impact of low-carbohydrate and low-fat diet on patients with type 2 diabetes.
