Power cut in all major cities for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the night!

In order to counter the problem of overload or excess power demand, the Electricity Department officials have decided to impose power cuts for period of 30 minutes to 1 hour in all major cities – Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy, and Salem.
The power cut period is set for 1 hour in the cities where the demand is more.
Usually, the power demand is more during June & July. Hence, instructions have been issued to the engineers to cut off power for 30 minutes to 1 hour in each substation.
