Things that one SHOULD NOT DO after a meals session!

It is well-known that an individual’s eating habits plays a vital role in his/her healthy life! 

It is important to know how to eat; and then take care about what we do immediately after a session of meals will have an impact our health!

Here are some interesting tidbits about things that SHOULD NOT BE DONE after each eating session.

  • Smoking immediately after meals causes even more severe harm than it does during other times! The habit of smoking immediately after meals is equivalent to the heavy chances of getting cancer while smoking many cigarettes during a single session.
  • Some people have the habit of taking fruits almost immediately after meals. This is harmful. This tends to send some gas into the digestion system causing some gastric troubles such as the stomach bloated with air. So, we can either take some fruits an hour before the meals session. Or we can take fruits 1 or 2 hours after the meals session.
  • Strictly avoid taking tea immediately after meals! Tea contains some acidity. This will harden some of the proteins taken during the meals and creating problems for digestion.
  • Do not loosen your belts after meals! This may cause twisting & blocking of the intestine!
  • Please do not take bath immediately after meals! Blood circulation throughout the body increases while taking bath. This would block the blood that would have circulated in the digestion cycle and reduce the required quantity. This will definitely affect the functioning of the digesting organs.
  • Generally, most people recommend walking after a meals session. Some people insist that it is even better for the diabetics to walk after meals. However, walking immediately after the means, like the instance of taking bath, blocks the blood circulation required for the digestion cycle. It will also prevent the nutrition content transfer to the blood. So, remember! It is not good to walk immediately after meals!
  • Please do not go to sleep immediately after lunch or dinner! There must be break of at least 30 minutes or even more after meals only after which you can go to sleep! Only then, the digestion will be proper!
