TN to buy 81 boats for Rs 65 lakh

The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation will buy 81 new boats for its boat houses at Rs 65 lakh in the current fiscal year. The announcement was made by tourism minister S P Shunmuganathan in the assembly on Tuesday. TTDC operates boat houses at Muttukadu, Mudaliarkuppam, Pitchavaram, Yercaud, Kodaikanal, Courtallam, Ooty and Pykara.
