Four out of six visitors arriving at the Singapore airport hail from South India. Making use of this and as the company marks its tenth anniversary, Tigerair launched an exclusive Rs 10 round trip to the island nation from 5 Indian cities – Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin and Trichy between 15th and 21st September.
The same offer will now be made again this month, say Robert Yang, the commercial director of Tigerair while speaking to a gathering of journalist at his office in Singapore last week.
He says the offer is being re-launched. The base fare will be just Rs 10 and the to-and-fro ticket will cost just Rs 7499 which is inclusive of all taxes. This offer will however be available for trips made in the early days of next year, he adds.
Though the ticket price is slashed, there is no compromise on the quality of service offered. Passengers who want food or water onboard can get it ordered while booking ticket, he added. We aim at getting reasonable travel options for the passengers and the price spent should be worth it. Passengers plan their trip intelligently. They look for offers and plan accordingly.
