Metro Rail signal testing carried out in full swing

Inspections were carried out to analyze the advanced signal technology that is set to get incorporated for Metro rails. Experts from Germany carried out the inspections. With these signals, it is possible to stop a train following another one if the preceding train stops for some unexpected reason. Test run for these trains are taking place in a step by step manner.

Amidst this officials from the research, design and quality system from Lucknow carried out an important test recently. Following this, the final stage test run are set to take place, says S.K. Mittal, a railway protection officer. As a step, officials from the Metro Rail department headed to Bangalore to submit a document containing 15000 sheets. This is currently under analysis.

While these works are taking place currently, testing of signals are to be carried out by Siemens, a German company.
