New bus route from Tiruvottiyur to Egmore

A new bus service from Raja Shanmugam Nagar to Egmore has been introduced. There are about 20 streets in Tiruvottiyur North area including Raja Shanmugam Nagar and Charles Nagar. Since there was no bus facilities in this area, the commuters have to walk two kms every day to get the buses to Egmore, Parrys Corner and Koyambedu. Hearing the plea of the people, MTC has introduced a new bus service 28 A from Tiruvottiyur to Egmore.
