A NEW VEGETABLE SHOP OPENED IN T NAGAR

The Triplicane Urban Co-operative Society (TUCS) on Monday opened a vegetable and fruit outlet on Muthurangan Steet, T.Nagar. The shop will be operated by a group of women from the locality. The shop will be open for sales from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day or until the stocks last.
The women work in the shop will be paid incentive by TUCS.The sale price is determined by TUCS. The aim of the shop is to cater to the low-income group families by selling the vegetables and fruits at affordable price. A branch of the Kamadhenu Supermarket was also opened on the same street on Monday.
