Tamil Nadu Legislature Assembly to meet on 24th August!

Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretary has announced that the Assembly is scheduled to meet at 10.00 AM on 24th August.
It was expected that Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly will meet after the arrest, jailing and release of Ms. Jayalalithaa on disproportionate wealth accumulation case once she re-assumed the post of Chief Minister.
However, as the by-election was announced in R K Nagar constituency, the CM had concentrated her efforts on that. Once she was elected from R K Nagar constituency, it was again widely expected that the Legislative Assembly might meet.
With the recent strong protests and demand to impose prohibition again in the state, the Legislative Assembly is scheduled to meet on 24th August.
