The mobile phone handset major Nokia, on Wednesday launched its first ‘touch and type` design in two models.
Announcing the launch here, T S Sridhar, Nokia`s General Manager (South) said that the latest offering to consumers was that of ``best of both the worlds,`` with the phones having both the touchscreen facility as well as that of the keypad.
Priced at Rs 8,839 and Rs 9,389, X3-02 and C3-01 boast of a variety of features, including 3G and Wi-fi facilities, he said, adddressing a press conference.
The Nokia X3-02 handset is also equipped with 5 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm headset jack, FM radio and display with 240*320 pixel resolution. Again, the camera stands out tall as the best feature that produces quality images. These higher middle segment phones are usually bundled with a lot of features because if they do not do that, then companies like Micromax would sweep the market with its cheap phones with a bag full of features. Most of the features in Nokia X3-02 are the same with 5 megapixel autofocus camera, 3.5mm jack and has no multitasking features in it. Memory capabilities include a 30 Mb internal storage expandable up to 32 Gb via micro SD cards. And, for X3-02 internal storage starts at 2 Gb but can be expanded same up to 32 Gb.
