Fire breaks out at Anna Nagar BPCL office

A fire broke out at the office of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)’s Southern Head Office in Anna Nagar, Chennai, on Tuesday.
Police and Fire and Rescue Service Department sources said there were no casualties. Some documents and computers were gutted in the fire which broke out in the first floor of the building located at the upmarket anna Nagar area.
Nearly ten fire tenders rushed to the spot and put out the fire. The fire in the four-storeyed building on 15th Main Road broke out at around 0930 hrs.
The company declared a holiday for the day following the fire mishap, the cause of which was being probed.
