The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the region between Kanyakumari Ocean and the Maldives, there are good prospects of rain in the southern Tamil Nadu in a few places today (Wednesday, 28th March).
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Department explained:
‘As a cyclonic low-pressure format has developed over the upper layers of the atmosphere above the region between Kanyakumari Ocean and the Maldives, there are good prospects of rain today in a few places in the southern Tamil Nadu.
However, dry weather will prevail in the Northern Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Metro City will remain somewhat cloudy. The maximum temperature will be 33 Degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 25 Degrees Celsius.’
