It has been raining in Tamil Nadu since the last few days. In this situation, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain today (Monday, 30th April) in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The officials from the Chennai Meteorological centre explained in this regard:
The impact of the summer heat in Tamil Nadu has been quite severe in recent times. This has caused thermal convection which has led to rains in a few places.
Due to this thermal convection phenomenon, there are prospects of rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours. There are strong prospects of rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu.
However, the Chennai Metro City will experience dry weather.
A maximum temperature of 104 to 106 Degrees Fahrenheit may be recorded in Dharmapuri, Salem, Trichy, and Vellore.
