A new facility to reduce the hardship of train passengers

The central government department of Indian Railways has announced that all Indian trains must have a minimum of 10 PoS devices (Point of Sales). Presently, the train passengers need to keep hard cash to pay for the food items during the journey. When they do not have sufficient cash on hand, it becomes difficult to make the payment. The passengers with the credit/debit card also cannot use them.

In order to find a solution to this genuine problem faced by the train passengers, the Indian Railways Department has come up with an announcement that each train must be provided with a minimum of 10 PoS devices. This would facilitate cashless transactions and thus reduce the necessity for the train passengers to have extra hard cash on hand for buying food and other items.
