Weather Forecast for the week in India from May 29 to June 3

Let us take a look at the weather forecast for the week.
South India
Moderate to heavy rains are expected to occur over Kerala and Karnataka till May 29. Thereafter, light to moderate rains will continue over these states till June 3. Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh will start receiving light to moderate rain and thundershowers from June 1st onwards. On June 3rd we expect good rains over parts of Telangana and North Interior Karnataka.
Northwest India
Isolated light rains are possible over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand during next 48 hours. Uttarakhand may also receive light to moderate rain and thundershowers between June 1 to June 3. Isolated dust storm or thunderstorm is also possible over parts of Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan between May 30 and June 3. Heatwave is likely to abate from Delhi, Haryana and North Rajasthan.
Central India
Heatwave conditions will continue over many parts of Madhya Pradesh and isolated pockets of Gujarat and Rajasthan up to May 30. Thereafter, heatwave will abate from entire Central India. Scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over South Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan&Goa during the next 24 hours. Thereafter, light rains are also likely to commence over remaining parts of Maharashtra, parts of Chhattisgarh and South Madhya Pradesh. Between June 1 – June 3, we expect intensity to increase over Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan&Goa and Marathwada. One or two heavy sells are possible during that period.
East and Northeast India
Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are expected over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and parts of Assam during next 24 hours. Thereafter, rains will increase over Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura. On and off light to moderate rains will continue over northeastern states. On May 31 and June 1, Jharkhand, Odisha and parts of West Bengal may also receive good rains. Isolated light rains may commence over Bihar and Odisha from June 1st onwards.
