The process of revaluation for CBSE exams commences today

CBSE has introduced the facility for seeking revaluation of answer sheets again for the 10th and +2 classes. The candidates can apply for the same online in 2 stages - ask for rechecking first and then ask for the photocopy of the answer sheet in order to seek revaluation.

The students seeking revaluation can start sending their online applications from today (Friday, 1st June).

There are 3 steps
  • Apply for rechecking
  • Apply for a photocopy of the answer sheets.
  • Apply for revaluation
The payments for revaluation process can be made online

Students seeking to recheck can apply and make payments online from June 1 to June 5.

The charges for rechecking per subject are Rs. 500. The charges for getting a photocopy are Rs. 700 for +2 and Rs, 500 for 10th Standard. For revaluation, the applicant has to pay Rs. 100 per question for +2 and 10th.

The results of the rechecking will be on 14th June. They can request a copy of the answer sheet on 15th and 16th June. The copies will be sent on 20th June. The revaluation results will be released on 21st and 22nd June.

The officials also informed that arrangements have been made for the first time to make available all mark sheets, pass and migration certificates available in students’ digital lockers within hours of the declaration of results.

These digital documents are digitally signed, ‘DigiLocker’ verified and also have safety features such as QR codes.

The students can get the documents from the issuer (CBSE) online/ They can also share digital versions of the verified documents with educational institutions and employers.
