Chennai suburban electric train services stopped

As an electric wire near the Mambalam Railway Station snapped, the Chennai suburban electric services (Beach-Tambaram) have been stopped.
Meanwhile, 7 passengers who travelled hanging precariously on the footboard in the electric train were severely injured near St.Thomas Mount railway station.
