When to take shower after a tiring work out?

It is always tempting to take a refreshing shower after sweating out your body in the gym or house based on the individual work out regime. The warming up of body carried on with heavy work out increase the body temperature and heart rate pumping out all the working muscle groups in your body. So it is very essential for a person to cool down after a workout with certain stretches and movements dedicated for the very purpose.

Immediately going for a shower after a cool is not a right way for gaining a healthy body. You have to wait for another 20 to 30 minutes for a shower after the exercise. This will give time for your body to recover from the stress levels raised up during the workout. The muscles have to get relaxed and the nervous system will be on a boosting wake up mode after a workout. Resting the body will directly converts the nervous system from manual stress mode to automatic relaxation mode calming down the entire body system.

Immediate body temperature changes can lead to severe neurotic damages and easily destroys the benefit of your hard earned workout regime. Rest the body for half an hour or do some other relaxing activities for a short span of time. Then hitting the shower can actually recover you from the tiring physical activity by a gradual decrease in the cortisol levels.
