A special medical camp for differently-abled children

The Chennai Corporation Commissioner Karthikeyan has informed that a special medical camp is being organised from 27th August to 31st August exclusively for the differently-abled students (in the age group of 1 to 18) studying in the Corporation schools or the government schools.

On Behalf of the SMSA of the Chennai District of the Tamil Nadu State, the above special medical camps for the category and age group of students as mentioned above will be conducted in 10 locations under the jurisdiction of from 27th August to 31st August.

In this camp, ENT specialist doctors, experts on hands/legs impairment, Child Psychology specialists, Eye specialists, and Child Health Specialists will all be available and they will check the children and then recommend for the provision of the National Identity Card and required aid-kits/equipment and also the arrangements for surgery/operations if needed.

The parents of the children wishing to attend this camp must bring 4 photos of the child, medical certificate, identity card, and the income certificates of the parents. These special camps will operate from 8.30 AM to 2.00 PM.

The Chennai Corporation Commissioner has appealed to the public to make note of this opportunity and avail the benefits by attending the same.
