As the smart ration cards have been issued with Aadhar card details, the government has the data of all the fingerprints of the members as per the ration card. So, it has now been announced that only if any one of the members whose name is registered in the ration card, the ration items would be given. As the fingerprint data is already available, it is easy to check and verify. This will prevent selling the ration items to the wrong persons.
