There is an exciting announcement to all tour freaks.IRCTC (as you popularly call the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited), in its recent statement has said that it shall operate Bharat Darshan Tours for November and December 2018.
Ramayana Yatra
To start with, the Ramayana Yatra will be introduced in South India.
The additional general manager of tourism, IRCTC, Mr. L. Ravikumar states that this Ramayana Yatra shall kick-start on 14th of November from the Madurai Junction. This will encompass places including Hampi, Chitrakut Dam, Janakpuri in Nepal and a few other places pertaining to the epic. It will be a 15-day tour for the price Rs 15,830 per head.
Splendours of Deccan
The next is Splendours of Deccan. It shall kick-start on 2nd December from Madurai as well. And this shall encompass places such as Hyderabad, Aurangabad, etc. and get wrapped up at Goa. This will be priced Rs 10,100 per head and it will be a 10-day tour.
Goa Special
This will kick-start on 12th December from Madurai. It’s going to be a short trip of 5 days and rated Rs 4,725.
Mookambika Special
This will kick-start on 14th December from Madurai. It shall round up places like Dharmastala, Sringeri, and a few others in Karnataka. This will be priced RS 6930.
Comfy travel
IRCTC will provide sleeper class train journey. There will be non-air-conditioned dormitory facilities made available for accommodation in these packages. This train will only have passengers who have booked for the respective tour package. There will be an attendant and a security to attend to each and every compartment. Mr. Ravikumar adds that the bookings for these packages are open now.
