A display-cum-sales exhibition of handicraft articles and items made from the Northeast States of India has commenced at the Chennai Metro City Egmore Co-optex Complex.
Just similar to the Tamil Nadu State’s ‘Poompuhar ‘ (which organises and sells all handicraft items and textiles from the state), ‘Poorvashree’ undertakes this responsibility in the Northeastern Indian states.
A display-cum-sales exhibition is being organised by Poorvashree for the handicrafts from the northeastern states. It is held at the Co-optex complex located at the Pantheon Raod Egmore, Chennai.
This fair is organised with the support of the central government and handicraft items and articles and handloom textiles from Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim will be displayed and sold.
Furniture and other items made of rattan made in the northeastern states, Nagaland Dry-flowers, Assam -Kashmir saris, Lucknow kurtas, Uttar Pradesh white metal craft items will all be available.
The exhibition concludes on 16th December.
20% discount for handloom items and 10% discount on handicraft items are available.
